The female lead in the classic arcade game Dragon's Lair, Princess Daphne was probably the first real video game vixen. The game's groundbreaking cartoon animation gave Daphne a much more advanced, high-quality appearance than virtually all other games before it. In fact, the developers modeled Daphne after several Playmate pictorials from Playboy Magazine since Advanced Microcomputer Systems had no budget for actual models. The result is an unforgettable video game character.
Pros: Daphne's a blonde bombshell who likes skimpy outfits and heroic knights.
Cons: She's a bit of a ditz, and unlike later video game female characters, she doesn't have much of a taste for action.
Should Be Played By: since she was modeled after Playboy centerfolds, who better to play Daphne than Pamela Anderson?
